Sara E. Furlow is a family law attorney, serving children and families in Montgomery County and the District of Columbia. Prior to her work as a family law attorney, Sara was a civil litigator focusing primarily on federal labor and employment discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, unfair labor practice, and proposed disciplinary matters. Sara began her legal career at Maryland Legal Aid as a Staff Attorney, representing and advocating for children in need of assistance.
Sara obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina and her Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina. She is licensed to practice law in New York, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
In her spare time, Sara can be found as a volunteer on various committees with local bar associations. Sara is the Corresponding Secretary and Montgomery County Committee Co-Chair for the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association.
